On Tuesday June 10, Eel River Valley Storm pitcher Danielle Hansen had this game under control as she threw a 2 hitter against the Del Norte Braves in semifinal action. The Storm won 12-1 and moved on to the championship game. Hansen was unable to pitch the following day in the title game due to the rules and the Storm came up short in their championship bid.
