Fortuna senior Caitlin O'Rourke competed in her final high school swim meet last week at Eureka High in the HDN regular season finale for prep swimmers on May 8. O'Rourke shown here in the final yards of her win in the girls 100 yard backstroke also won the 50 yard freestyle event and participated in two team relays that earned a 1st and 2nd place.

Helena Kreb grinds out her leg in the 400 yard freestyle relay for girls in HDN swimming action last week. Kreb and teammates finished in 2nd place in the event, also she participated in the 200 yard freestyle relay team that earned a 1st place and individually won the girls 100 yard freestyle for a fabulous finish to the high school season.
