Fortuna's Skyar Rice (right) and Del Norte's Joseph Alexandre battled neck and neck the whole race in the boys 110 high hurdles at last Fridays' HD-N Track and Field Championships at Eureka High. A nicked hurdle would cost Rice the title as he was nipped at the finish line, however he later came back to earn his HD-N White Star in the 300 meter hurdles.
