The young and carefree life appears
To be lived by good-looking people with beers.
Those happy and fun-loving drinkers we see,
Are often seen nowhere except on TV!
Their bodies are healthy, their faces are glad;
We're not going to see them hungover or sad.
In magazines too they enjoy what they do;
Don't they seem just a little too good to be true?
The alcohol industry perpetuates fiction,
They'll take our cash but deny our addiction.
The ads never tell us that we're going to suffer,
And so will our families because life will get tougher.
We've all seen the down and out place liquor leads to;
The ads are just things to reject, they are untrue.
Even a few drinks can mess up your head;
Booze makes us ugly...and sick...and dead.
