A woman who was arrested twice in two days for allegedly breaking into Eureka homes was taken to Humboldt County Mental Health for a 72-hour evaluation, according to a Friday press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office.

Misty Dawn Miller, 29, was arrested Thursday after allegedly entering a residence on the 3400 block of Park Street through an unlocked door. She told officers she was looking for her daughter and heard her voice coming from inside the home, according to the release. Officials said Miller will be booked at the Humboldt County jail on suspicion of attempted burglary after she is cleared by mental health. The office will request she remain in custody on increased bail, according to the release.

Miller and Brian Anthony Arriaga, 33, were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of burglary and grand theft on the 1700 block of Quaker Street, which is next to Park Street. Both were reportedly found carrying clothing, keys and a silver bar, taken to the jail and booked. Arriaga was held in custody, and his bail was set at $50,000. Due to overcrowding, Miller was released on her promise to appear in court, according to the release
