Two Arcata residents were arrested Friday after a warranted search by Arcata Police officers uncovered nearly 200 pounds of marijuana, according to an Arcata Police press release.

Arcata residents Alexander Kent Dinwiddie, 35, and Deanne Marie Boggs, 23, were arrested at their residence on the 200 block of 13th Street in Arcata. The press release states that the marijuana and evidence of sales were found within the residence and an associated garage. Officers are currently investigating a third suspect who was not in the home during the time of the arrests, and will forward a search and arrest warrant to the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office.

Dinwiddie and Boggs were booked into Humboldt County jail on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale.

Arcata Police asks anyone with information on suspected drug activity to call the Arcata Police Department at 822-2428.
