The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a 33-year-old Eureka man reported missing Friday.

Ryan Matthew Grammer's mother reported him missing after he was last seen at her residence on Nedra Avenue in Eureka on Dec. 15. Grammer's mother reported that she and her son had argued that day before he left on foot, saying she grew concerned when he never returned to retrieve his belongings. According to a press release, she told police she has checked with all his friends, who reported they have not seen or heard from Grammer.

Grammer's mother finally reported him missing after he failed to contact his children on Christmas, which was unusual. Grammer is described as standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds with graying hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a maroon sweatshirt and a gray sweatshirt.

The sheriff's office asks anyone with information about Grammer's whereabouts to call 445-7251 or the Crime Tip line at 268-2539.
