More than 100 scholarships were awarded recently by the Humboldt County Farm Bureau to graduating seniors and continuing college students. These scholarships are awarded to students that major or minor in agriculture, science, education or vocational education, and are attending an accredited junior college, four-year college or vocational school.

Four students received three separate scholarships.

Hannah Van Duzer will receive a total of $3,850 from the Henri & Lanette Rousseau, Sterling F. Paddock, and Harry & Nadine Memorial Scholarships.

Dustin Wallis will receive a total of $2,850 from the Henri & Lanette Rousseau and Sterling F. Paddock Memorial Scholarships and the Humboldt County Farm Bureau Production Forestry Scholarship.

JJ Mullen will receive a total of $1,800 from the Henri & Lanette Rousseau and Sterling F. Paddock Memorial Scholarships and the Humboldt County Farm Bureau Production Forestry Scholarships.

Jennie Mullen will receive a total of $1,600 from the Henri & Lanette Rousseau and Sterling F. Paddock Memorial Scholarships, and from the Humboldt County Woolgrowers.

A total of 26 students will receive both Henri & Lanette Rousseau and Sterling F. Paddock Memorial Scholarships.

Recipients in the amount of $1,850 are: Kerilyn Ambrosini, Katrina Cahill, Callie Brodt, Cameron Dale, Kayla Ghidinelli, Danielle Hansen, Emily Janowski, Morgan McWhorter, Kelly O'Day, Kelly Pedrotti, Kaitlyn Regli, Tyler Regli, Kayla Thurlough, Garrett Wallis, and Katelyn Wilcox.

Recipients in the amount of $1,400 are: Sienna Anderson, Chase Brodt, Peyton Imperiale, Hannah Lovfald, and Bryce Lowry.

Recipients in the amount of $1,000 are: Emily Scilacci, Brooke Renner, and Paxton Woodward.

Recipients in the amount of $800 are: Jake Coppini, Rebecca Harnden, and Mackenzie Rice.

A total of 33 students will share nearly $21,000 from the Henri & Lynette Rousseau Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Recipients in the amount of $1,200 are: Frances Enos and Kristian Mohorovich.

Recipients in the amount of $850 are: Shelby Schoenhofer, Kaitlyn Sigler, and Kelsey Spaulding.

Recipients in the amount of $700 are: Morgan Bass, Brytann Busick, Kaitlyn Chorbi, Brooke Chrisler, Garrett Forbes, Franklin Griggs, Julie Hansen, Sara Hylton, Heather Lovelace, Walkyhr Macy, Taylor Pratt, Maxwell Schmidt, and Dalton Williams.

Recipients in the amount of $500 are: Shelby Beck, Monique Cox-Lovel, Jacob Gibbons, Jacob Mitchell, Ross Nickols, Tamara Valley, and David White.

Recipients in the amount of $400 are: Samantha Carter, Kaleb Cohoon, Mackenzie Dorn, James Griggs, Kristina Hindley, Jace Jackson, Colton Ross, and Merritt Schoenhofer.

Recipients of Humboldt County Farm Bureau scholarships attended a gathering at the Bureau's Eureka office recently. The Humboldt County Farm Bureau is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year with a celebration planned for July 27 at the Samoa Cookhouse.
