There will be an in-store promotion at 5 O'Clock Shadow and everyone is invited to check out all the great deals at all the local businesses located at the Strongs Creek Plaza during this festive event.

Safe and Sober students and families will be on hand selling tickets to their annual benefit dinner which will be held in April. The event helps fund the FUHS student's safe and sober graduation party.

”The response to this annual event has been fantastic,” organizer and owner of KiDLiCiouS Felicia Thomsson said. “This is just another way the community can give back to the children of our community. We have schools from the area here to help raise money for their students. Not everyone in the community has children and they want to help our schools, but don't know how. This is a way that they can enjoy an event, get great deals on merchandise, and give back to the students in our community.”

The event is also having a coloring contest. “We distributed about 500 coloring pages to the schools and we will have the results posted in the KiDLiCiouS window at 10 a.m. when the event begins,” Thomsson said. The contest was for children 8 years and under and winners will receive a prize.

”The Strongs Creek Plaza Spring Extravaganza will happen rain or shine,” Thomsson said. There will sidewalk chalk to express your creative side. For more information, contact Felicia or Sara at 725-3200.
