Ethan & Teyler Totes is working with Starbucks to help promote their organization, Ethan & Teyler Totes, which puts emergency bags together for families who have been thrown into the trenches at UCSF and Lucile Packard Children's Hospitals unexpectedly.
The Totes offer supplies that are often forgotten in the rush of packing when being airlifted to one of these hospitals. More often than not the parents do not even get the opportunity to pack a bag, but rather are shuffled frantically onto an ambulance and then a life flight.
These are the families Ethan & Teyler Totes are trying to reach with a simple reusable tote that will contain the supplies necessary to keep them focused on what is important ... the life of a loved one instead of how they are going to brush their teeth.
Ethan & Teyler Totes volunteers just returned from their first delivery of these totes and have amazing life changing stories to share. Co-founder Jennifer Bailey expressed, “I am so overwhelmed with the gratitude and stories we were flooded with upon our delivery of the totes to the Bay Area.”

The Organization would like to express, “A heartfelt thank you to the community for all their support to date in this worthy cause.” Bailey shares, “We really hope that everyone will consider buying that extra cup of coffee via a $5 Starbucks card and we apologize that there is not a drop box in the Starbucks stores.” Bailey explains, “Due to policy, Starbucks is unable to collect the cards on our behalf, but look for flyers and organization cards in the store that explain drop off locations.”
Gift cards can be dropped off at US Bank in Fortuna, US Bank in Henderson Center Eureka, or US Bank on 5th Street Eureka. Strongs Creek Plaza in Fortuna has three drop off locations, including Long Board Sub, Kidlicious, and Glamorous Boutique. You may also mail gift cards to Ethan & Teyler Totes P.O. 1. Starbucks $5 gift cards can be purchased at any location to help support the Totes program. Ethan & Teyler Totes is using Starbucks as a universal card to purchase due to their large number of locations in the County and most importantly in the Bay Area where families in need will be using them.
2. Kidlicious and Glamorous recently joined the cause as drop off locations for donation items and gift cards. They join long time supporter Long Board Sub who is located just next door located at the Strongs Creek Plaza in Fortuna.
