16th Annual Ruth Lake Summer Festival

On the weekend of Aug. 7 and 8, the 16th Annual Ruth Lake Summer Festival will take place at the Ruth Lake Recreation Campground. The free of charge festival will feature arts and craft vendors, live music both days, a raffle, kid's games, petting zoo, pancake breakfast, and albacore barbecue.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Southern Trinity Volunteer Fire Department and the Southern Trinity Area Rescue.

For directions, take Highway 36 going east by the Alton Interchange south of Fortuna, then take the Ruth Lake turnoff. Drive south approximately 10 miles and go past Ruth Dam. Look for festival signs at Ruth Lake Recreation Campground. For details, call Don at 574-6217.
