To accommodate the schedules of full-time working people, the fall and spring semester class will meet on Fridays from 2 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CR's fall semester begins on Saturday, Aug. 28.
The 33-unit, one-year program, only available to people who already are at least EMT-1 certified, will run fall and spring semesters and a summer internship. The fall class is an 11-unit class, spring is 13 units and the summer field experience internship is worth 9 units.
The North Coast Paramedic Program is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
