A caller on Rohnerville Road told police that people are throwing water balloons at her house, and she turned a hose on the subjects who fled the area. The caller requested extra patrol.

3:52 p.m.

An audible alarm was sounded at the shop on the Fortuna High campus. Windows on the north side of the building had been broken.

5:44 p.m.

A caller on Summer Street told police that she observed a front tire on her car to be on fire. Summoning her husband's help, he put the fire out, but they are concerned how the fire was lit. Police are investigating.

July 12

3:58 p.m.

A citizen called police to report someone sleeping in the bus stop at Redwood Way by Safeway, requesting a welfare check. When police arrived, the subject was gone.

4:56 p.m.

A caller on Willow Drive called police to report a scam phone call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, advising her to buy a computer upgrade because hers has viruses. A call put in to Microsoft confirmed it was a scam.

5:24 p.m.

A man on 11th Street called police about his wife leaving town with their baby and not returning. Police repeatedly attempted to call the man back but the phone was busy.

July 14

1:44 p.m.

In the area of Ross Hill Road and Hope Lane, a white Ford pickup and a Honda Civic were seen burning out in parked position. An officer observed the vehicles leaving the Riverwood 76 as they were on their way to the freeway.

7:06 p.m.

A call from Redwood Recovery on Cypress Loop reported that a man was seen going in and out of the women's recovery house for about an hour. The caller stated that the subject is associated with a silver Ford Taurus station wagon and sports a gray mustache.

8:54 p.m.

A call was received from a home on Pineview Drive stating that a woman, claiming to be with the U.S. Census left the location after refusing to provide identification and was reportedly rude. The female subject was described as being in her 30s and driving an older model minivan. An officer contacted the woman, determining that she was a census worker with a visible badge.

9:09 p.m.

A caller on Trinity Street told police that a someone punched him several times and violently ripped a hair pin off the his child's head. The subject left on foot while the caller waited for police to arrive.

July 15

2:54 p.m.

A group of noisy juveniles were spotted at Toddy Thomas School grounds by citizens calling in.
