Ferndale Wildcats No. 11 Jakob Junkerman might have felt like a fish out of water at the beginning of the season, as the exchange student from Germany had never played organized basketball before coming to the U.S. However, Junkerman stuck it out on the varsity squad this season and last week came off the bench late in the game against South Fork and got in the scorebook by going to the free throw line and sinking both his shots in the Cats 56-40 win
