Fortuna's annual drive-through living nativity celebrates its 10th year on Dec. 10 and 11 from 7 to 9 p.m., in the parking lot between the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Community Services Center in Fortuna. Nine scenes portray the birth of Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation. This event commands a cast and crew of around 100 volunteers of all ages from various congregations. Actors don period costumes and portray each scene through still-life acting, remaining virtually immobile for half an hour at a time. For details, call 786-9601.
