Ferndale Senior Resource Center receives grant; Meal-on-wheels program gets boost from Wells Fargo

Recently, Wells Fargo Advisors of the Ferndale Branch received a grant from the Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation in the amount of $1,400.00 to sponsor the Ferndale Senior Resource Center's Meals -on-Wheels program. Humboldt Beacon subscribers in Humboldt County should receive their paper in the mail on Thursday. If you did not recieve your paper, we can either mail you a new one or credit your account. Crediting your account means that we extend your subscription for another week. Please call Al Daw at 707 441-0554 to have another paper mailed or your account credited.

Home delivery is an option for subscribers in the Eel River Valley (Loleta south to Scotia and Hwy 36 east to Carlotta). If you call before 10 a.m. on a weekday, a new paper can be delivered that same day. If you call after 10 a.m., it won't be delivered until the next business day.

Subscribers outside of Humboldt County who are having difficulty receiving their newspaper can e-mail to circulation@humboldtbeacon.com or call 707-441-0563.
