For the fourth time, local and national string acts will gather for the annual String Thing on Friday at ATL. Local bluegrass standouts Absynth Quintet, Huckleberry Flint and the No Good Redwood Ramblers will play as well as Colorado dance-grassers WhiteWater Ramble, West Virginia string stars BrownChicken BrownCow and Colorado-based Americana greats the Rorey Carroll Band.

Traditional musicians Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas will thrill the crowd as a duo with their Celtic-esque classical-rock, righteous rhythms and meticulous melodies.
