Sacramento-based band, The Outer Edge is coming to Humboldt. With a fast-growing fan base in the Bay Area and the Humboldt County, the group has been around for three years and local gigs are lined up at both Six Rivers Brewery and Blue Lake Casino. In March, the Outer Edge returns to play at the Arcata Theatre Lounge.

The band will be in the area from Feb. 11 to the 13th and will start out with a live show on KHSU 90.5 FM on Thursday night, at Six Rivers Brewery on Friday night, and Blue Lake Casino on Saturday night.

According to member Robbie Allen, “our style is basically a diverse blend of instrumental rock, psychedelia, and post-modern surf and is mostly guitar-oriented.”

The Outer Edge released their most recent CD in September and they are getting ready to release two more later this year. “We've found a little bit of a following the Humboldt area and we really love the crowds,” Allen remarked.
