Families Advocating Autism Now held a Halloween Party at the Fortuna Rohner Park Skating Rink free for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their immediate family members. "The event has been a great success," Emily Lewis of FAAN said. "We have a much better turnout than last year and everyone seems to be having a great time." FAAN provided food, drinks, candy, skating, dancing, and lots of other fun activities to those in attendance. Most children and young adults showed up in costume for the festive afternoon. There will be another free FAAN event for individuals with ASD and their immediate families at the Bounce-A-Palooza at 3300 Broadway #128, Eureka, on Nov. 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Bayshore Mall will be closed, so those wishing to attend must enter from behind the mall at the rear Bounce-A-Palooza entrance.
