Did you work for the Pacific Lumber Company or were you in some way connected to the Scotia-based logging and lumber operations? Then you may be interested in attending a gathering in Scotia on Sunday.

The PL potluck picnic and reunion will take place at Fireman's Park in Scotia and will include interaction and reminiscing between former lumber company employees and others. Pacific Lumber Company filed for bankruptcy in January 2007, and ceased to exist in July 2008, when Humboldt Redwood Company began operations in Scotia.

A similar potluck gathering was held last year in Scotia and included sharing many stories as well as an interest in getting together on a regular basis.

The picnic will start at noon on Sunday and anyone attending is asked to bring a side dish for the potluck. Barbecued hot dogs will be provided.
