Redwood Prep Charter School to hold annual gala

Redwood Preparatory Charter School is gearing up to host their 2nd annual Gala on Saturday, May 18. The event will take place at the Scotia Inn in Scotia at 6 p.m.

The event will have a no-host cocktail hour with cheese and crackers at 6 p.m., with dinner by the Scotia Inn being served at 7 p.m.

There will silent and live auction with items ranging from simple gift baskets to large trip packages to Disneyland, a weekend on the lake, and a wine country getaway. Student art will also be a part of the auctions showing the creativity of the Redwood Prep students and their love of the school.

Tickets for the event are $45 each with proceeds directly benefiting student programs such as sports, music and electives. Tickets can be purchased at the Redwood Prep front office.

Following dinner and the live auction there will be dancing with music by Steve Couch. The theme for the gala is "The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Music." The theme was picked to support the needs of the school and funding programs such as sports, music, and electives.
