Eel River Valley Youth Football League is teaming up the Rohner Grange to spread the word about the league, raise some funds, and provide packets to interested families. They will be having a pancake breakfast at the Grange at 3701 Mill St. in Fortuna on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon with plates of pancakes, eggs, and sausage served with coffee or orange juice for $3 small plate and $6 large plate.

This will be a kick off of early signups and interested families who attend can pick up their packets to start getting all the necessary paperwork ready. Also, there will be information available regarding the first free physical and sign up work shop being held on Wednesday at Humboldt Medical Group in Fortuna at 6 p.m.

Cheerleaders can also pick up their packets. Kindergarten girls can pick up their packets if they are at least 5 years old. Mascot age ranges from 5 to 7 years old and then cheerleaders are moved up to league levels. If you would like more information about cheerleading in ERV you can contact Rebecca Ivy at 223-3103.

Profits from the event will be shared evenly between the Rohner Grange and the ERV Football and Cheerleading League.
