Betty Treder bested the field in the March 21 day's play of "Any Nine" with a score of 23. Janet Barnwell took the second spot with 24.5 and Carolyn Podratz, third place with 25.5. Barnwell was closest to the pins on no. 2, no. 9 and no. 16, making a clean sweep. Podratz had the low putts of the day with 29, while Treder played the low net of 75 and Barnwell, the low gross of 81.
The March 28 tournament of "two best balls" was won by the team of Vickie Thornton, Sherron Bissmeyer, Barb Lindsay and Doris Nolan. Second place went to Nova Heilbronn, Carol Kinser and Dale Harris and third to Barnwell, Jo Ann French, Podratz and Tove Simonsen. Thornton was closest to the pin on no. 2, Barnwell on no. 6 and Lindsay on no. 16. Nolan had the low putts of 26 and the low net of 67. Lindsay carded the low gross of 87.
Both tournaments were played at Redwood Empire Golf and Country Club in Fortuna.
