Spooky times are ahead for the youth of the Eel River Valley as Toddy Thomas eighth-graders hold a non-school sponsored Halloween dance at Fortuna Union High School Girl's Gym on Friday, October 19th.

The fundraising dance is for fifth- through eighth-grade and will be spooking kids from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. All are encouraged to dress up for the Halloween dance.

Admission is $5 and tickets are available at the door. For those who dance up an appetite there will be baked goods, drinks, and other caldron-created delights.

The evening would not be complete without glow sticks and trick or treats. The evening will rise to the dark night with a costume contest complete with prizes.

To help the eighth-grade class fundraise you can attend the dance or make a donation to the Toddy Thomas eighth grade. The class would like to emphasize that this is not a school sponsored event.
