Great weather has provided for some mouth watering harvest treats and Fortuna will be hosting a Harvest Market on Main Street between 12th and 10th streets on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This is a great opportunity to pick up some wonderful harvest treasures that have been soaking up the sun rays late into the year.

There will be many of our local farmers with vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, and much more.

Creative vendors will be throughout the event with specialty items such as tie-dyed items, wool fibers, hand crafted soaps, jewelry, pulled pork, baked goods, plants, and live music by the Falling Rocks with folk singer Lindsay Battle.

Heather Cashman is chairing this event for the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce and is the Downtown Merchant Association President. Cashman shared, "This is the first time for this event and we are very excited. It is a nice compliment and continuation of the Apple Harvest and we hope to do it every year." The weather has been very supportive of gardens and Cashman stated, "This is an extra day of our traditional Farmer's Market with some additives. It is going to be a great event and a lot of fun there is a lot of talent coming to share their individual crafts of food and artistries."
