On Saturday, Jan. 14, the Pastime Silent Movie Orchestra will perform to a silent feature film starring Buster Keaton. The quartet features violin, clarinet, piano, trombone and miscellaneous sound effects.
On Feb. 11, concert pianist Daniela Mineva will perform old and new works for piano. Bulgarian born, Mineva currently teaches at Humboldt State University.
On March 10, the Latin Peppers will spice things up a little on the Fortuna Monday Club stage. The group includes Jimmy Durchslag (trombone), Damien Roomets (bass), Orlando Morales (percussion), Jim Dooley (trumpet) and Tim Randles (piano).
On April 14, Terrie Baune and John Chernoff will present an evening of violin and piano music, then on May 12, the vocal ensemble "Slide" will take concert goers on a nostalgic trip to the '60s. Members include Gloria Gold, Mike Gibbs, Roger Sanderson, Ian Goble, Jay Byker and a mystery percussionist.
