FUHS Class of 1962 thanks sponsors

Dear Editor,

The Class of 1962 wants to thank you all for allowing us to participate in the 50th Anniversary of Homecoming, a tradition our class started in the fall of our senior year.

With the cooperation of Ed Tanferani at Fortuna Ford and his "people mover" trailer, we enjoyed being in the parade. We had an interesting tour of the school, and the highlight of our day: we attended your delightful pep rally.

There was a lot of jaw dropping and OMG-ing on our parts, but we reveled in your talent and enthusiasm and the sheer numbers of you who participated. After dinner (where else?) at Bob's, we joined you for the game and halftime extravaganza. Awesome fireworks! Frosting on the cake: you won! Throughout the day we were treated like royalty and we deeply appreciate it.

We pass to the Class of 2012 the responsibility of returning in 2061 for the 100th Anniversary. Hope you have as much fun as we had with you!
