In a timely PR move, Walgreens and TaskRabbit are promoting a partnership to deliver cold medicine — and anything else Walgreens sells — to your doorstep.

TaskRabbit is an “online and mobile marketplace” that allows people who live in one of the 19 cities in which it operates to post errands and pick runners to do them.

The partnership, which Mashable reports is TaskRabbit's first with a retailer, runs through Feb. 18. But using it won't be cheap.

Shoppers not wanting to leave home will have to pay errand runners picking up their cold and flu medicines whatever fee they've set. TaskRabbit charges a 20 percent service fee on top of that.

If you happen to be in Ligonier, Pa., however, Fox's Pizza Den is offering up a better deal — let them know what you need and they'll do their best to deliver.

“Due to the extreme weather conditions, please call my cell phone and I will do everything in my power to have things brought to you (medications, food, etc.). No food ordering required,” said the pizza shop's owner, Tom Wynkoop.

He's made four deliveries so far, reports the Associated Press.
