Several dozen youngsters from infants to 7-year-olds dressed up as cowgirls and cowboys in the annual Fortuna Rodeo/Redwood Village Shopping Center costume contest held last week. The costume contest was one of a number of activities available for the entertainment of children.

Prizes were awarded in the costume contest to the lucky 18 winners in three age categories. Winners were:

Girls age 0-2: 1st Place, Kali Garlinghouse, age 2; 2nd Place, Abigail Miner, age 2; 3rd Place, Grayson Crenshaw, age 2. Boys age 0-2: 1st Place, Bryson Johnson, age 13 months; 2nd Place, Bubba Burns, age 2; 3rd Place, Eli Bieniek, age 2.

Girls age 3-5: 1st Place, Ava Dill, age 4; 2nd Place, Emma Brito, age 5; 3rd Place, Brooklyn Gonzalez, age 3. Boys age 3-5: 1st Place, Jonoah Lopez, age 4; 2nd Place, Cooper Cook, age 3; 3rd Place, Ian Victorine, age 3.

Girls age 6-8:1st Place, Lauren Brito, age 7; 2nd Place, Fionna, age 7; 3rd Place, Jenna Fischer, age 6. Boys age 6-8: 1st Place, Evan Victorine, age 6; 2nd Place, Samuel Colosio, age 7; 3rd Place Sheriff Barton, age 6.

The annual event at Redwood Village Shopping Center also offered free face painting, free horse rides from Korobi Stables, fireman's muster for children, bounce house, rock climbing wall, and demonstrations by Cobra and Butterfly and HealthSport.
