Professional photographers swear by this time of day when the light from the sun shines on the earth from the side.
To enhance your chances of getting that perfect shot, be sure to setup early and take a sturdy tripod and take as many images as you can. This beautiful light can be applied to any type of outdoor photography, also portraits can become that dramatic image you have always searched for. So get out there: Humboldt County provides the opportunity from ocean to redwoods to obtain the magic you have been looking for in your images.
If you would like a group of enthusiastic photographers to accompany you, come on a field trip with the Fortuna Camera Club. We go on local shoots the second Saturday of the month and love to have visitors, we are also a family club with our membership ranging from seven years old to 90 years young. We also meet the last Friday of the month at the United Methodist Church at 10th and N streets in Fortuna at 7:30 p.m. and all are welcome.
For information on the club please call Kathy Blanchard at 442-6282.
