* Women's Opportunity Award. This is a $1,000 cash award for a women who is the primary financial support for her family and who is accepted to or enrolled in an undergraduate degree or vocational skills-training program with the goal of improving her occupational status. This award may be used at the winner's discretion to offset any costs associated with educational efforts. Examples are books, transportation and/or childcare. This program begins at the club level and the winner will also be able to compete at Soroptimist International district and region levels. Applicants will be judged by an independent panel, and the winner will be honored at the SIERV's Annual Awards presentation in the spring. Application

* The Ruby Award. This award honors women who, through their professional or personal efforts, are making extraordinary differences in the lives of women or girls. Community members may nominate a woman they feel is deserving of this honor or may nominate themselves.
The winner of this award should be available to accept the award in person and will be given a monetary award the Soroptimist's Annual Awards Dinner.
* The Violet Richardson Award. This award recognizes girls, ages 14 to 17, who through community service make their community and the world a better place, particularly for women and girls. These efforts might include working with the elderly or homeless, environmental protection and youth organizations. The winner will receive $250 with a $100 donation to the charity of her choice, and will be eligible to compete at the Soroptimist district and regional levels.
