Oil paintings by Susan Cooper will be showing at Curley's Grill in Fortuna through December and January. Her works include landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and portraits. Cooper works as an art educator for several Fortuna programs with children, teens, and adults, and coordinates the gallery at Los Bagels. A Virginia native, she has had a lifelong devotion to the arts.

Curley's Restaurant is happily celebrating its offical opening this Friday, Dec. 4. Moved from Ferndale, their new location is 320 Main Street in Fortuna, at the former Parlato's Restuarant site.
