In a non-injury incident, a Jeep Cherokee collided with an older blue pick-up at 875 Main St., Fortuna.
6:28 p.m.
A citizen called police to report that around five female juveniles could be heard for 30 minutes arguing in an alley.
7:31 p.m.
A caller told police that his girlfriend is receiving death threats on her cell phone from an unknown suspect. The victim did not want to pursue charges but asked police to advise the suspect to stop calling.

1:48 p.m.
A man dialing 911 from the Chevron Station on Main Street told responders that he knows how swine flu is created. Going on, he stated that strange vehicles were in the area. Police contacted the caller and determined that he was a patron of National 9 and was not a threat to himself or others.

9:36 a.m.
A man was seen stumbling by a 12th Street apartment and a resident called Fortuna Police. The caller later discovered that her window had been broken around the same time, The apartment manager was notified.
10:09 a.m
A citizen called to report seeing a male transient dressed in camoflauge pants and flannel jacket “punching” a pay phone.

1:32 p.m.
A citizen called to say that he stopped on Redway Way by Safeway to let a bird cross and another subject on foot kicked his vehicle. An officer responded and advised the subjects on the matter.
Dec. 8
12:22 p.m.
A caller told police that a fellow employee has been forging his name on prescriptions and getting them filled. An officer is investigating.
12:07 p.m.
A Fortuna postal worker called police about a customer who was trying to send drugs through the mail. A Fortuna Police Officer responded, and the subject explained that she didn't know what was in the package and that she was doing it for a friend. The officer confiscated one marijuana joint and Tramadol, a narcotic.
