Fortuna youth volleyball starting

The Fortuna Volleyball Program and City of Fortuna are offering a winter volleyball league for girls in grades 5 through 8. Each participant will receive a team jersey along with the opportunity to learn basic fundamental skills, leadership skills, dedication and teamwork. The league will focus on skills of the game needed to be successful playing in a match. Games will be played at Fortuna Middle School. The program will run for four Saturdays in January 2010 starting Jan. 2. The fee is $30 per child, with a sibling discount. For details, call the Park Office at 725-7620.
