Ferndale's Frankie Griggs flies down the home sideline on a punt return in the 2nd quarter of Saturday's regular season finale versus McKinleyville. Moments later Griggs received a hard hit, knocking the talented junior out of the game and subsequently out of the season with a broken collarbone. Griggs' efforts did not go for naught as his run set up the Wildcats second score of the contest and Ferndale held on for the 27-13 win over the Panthers.
