10:19 a.m.
A citizen came to the station to report that two men were loitering around her garage and asked if they could come in to appraise any valuable property. The resident declined but was concerned about the men being in the area.
7:07 p.m.
A caller reported seeing a truck on south bound Main Street traveling at a high rate of speed. The caller stated she was almost hit by the truck.
10:24 a.m.
Police received a call concerning a parking lot in the Rohnerville area, being ued as a bathroom. Extra patrol was requested.
Nov. 13
A citizen living on Kenmar Road reported that when he woke up this morning he found that his tires had been slashed. Officer took report.
Nov. 14
10:36 a.m.
A man came to the police station to report that someone during the night keyed his truck and slashed his tires.
12:53 p.m.
A woman called to report that someone had broken several objects in her home and tried to grab her by the throat. The individual left in a grey sedan, possibly enroute to McKinleyville.
3:51 p.m.
A citizen called police about a copper or brass diving helmet that had been taken from her front yard around 2 a.m. by an unknown subject.
11:41 p.m.
An older model vehicle was reported as following another at a high rate of speed on south bound Fortuna Boulevard.
Nov. 15
2:59 p.m.
An officer in the area of Rohnerville and Church Streets received a report of two juveniles dodging traffic. The officer contacted and advised the juveniles.
11:11 p.m.
While on patrol, a Fortuna police officer was flagged down by a citizen complaining about loud music coming from the basketball courts. The officer contacted an individual about the complaint and advised him.
Nov. 16
9 a.m.
Fortuna Police to Sunrise Cemetery on the report of a burglary. Sometime between Nov. 13 and the 14th, suspects entered and took a 1990 gray Toyota pickup truck, a 2007 yellow Cub Cadet Utility vehicle and power tools. In addition, a stolen trailer from Fortuna Chevrolet was reported. The trailer is a 10 foot white 2007 Featherlight enclosed cargo trailer. An award has been offered.
9:32 a.m.
A purse was found in the road on Ivy Lane. The owner of the purse was contacted, stating that it had been stolen from her on Saturday night while at the Playroom. Between $400 and $500 was allegedly taken from the purse. There are no subjects at this time.
